Walking at Meerheuvel

In this beautiful area, hikers can indulge themselves and enjoy the stunning scenery.

Meerheuvel is a water catchment area owned by the Water Group. In 2014, an agreement was signed by the Water Group, granting the Meerheuvel Fly Fishing Association permission to organize fly fishing for its members.

We would like to inform you that occasional hikers are permitted to walk along the path along Meerheuvel Lake. We ask that hikers respect our natural environment and adhere to the rules

From Visitor Center De Wissen, you can explore the nearby Negenoord-Kerkeweerd nature reserve and the tourist attractions of Dilsen-Stokkem. Visitor Center De Wissen is the main gateway to RivierPark Maasvallei.
